This year Team Bike Doctor is riding super stiff, super light, and perhaps the hottest aluminum road bikes on the MABRA circuit, Cannondale Si CAAD 10.

Sunny Gill used his new CAAD10 to get him around a super fast and technical crit at Tour de Toona. This year the team is using white and black frames which features BB30 bottom bracket and tapered 1 1/8- 1 1/4″ head tube.

Being the smallest guy on the team, Sunny rides a 50 cm CAAD 10. He opted to go with SRAM Force groupset instead of RED, often the choice for athletes who are on a budget yet concerned about the weight.  Sunny spins around on 172.5 mm K Force light crank set with ceramic bottom bracket to get him up to speed and over the climbs. Sunny prefers all aluminum PRO Vibe cockpit, slightly heavier than carbon but less likely to fracture under torque. His choice of pedals are Look KEO 2 Max, and he like to roll with tried and true Zipp 404 tubulars. The team is sponsored by Mavic, but Sunny is still using his Vittora Evo Crosa Cx tires from last season. His is currenlty using Mavic K-10 tires on his clincher wheelset.  Some of the team color (red) accessories on the bike include K-Edge chain catcher, red seatpost collar, and  Elite water bottle cages that keep the bottles in check during races like Poolesville.

Overall the bike is stiff, light, and durable. Look for Sunny and the Bike Doctor team on their new CAAD 10 during future MABRA races.

What? Sunny grew! I swear he used to ride a 48 cm frame. It’s good to see that he is still racing and kicking arse.
